A small Latino-owned barbershop in Mar Vista. Founded by Lalo. Cuts, beards, hot-towel shaves — done right and done by hand, the way it's been done for the last hundred years.

The blade has

A neighborhood shop where you'll always know the name of the person holding the clippers — and they'll always know yours.

"Doble Filo" — double edge. The straight razor's promise: precision on one side, restraint on the other.

We opened in 2021 and rebranded as Doble Filo in 2023 to mark a simple commitment — no compromises. Not on cost, not on craft, not on the time we'll spend getting it right.

Modern fade or traditional taper. Hot-towel shave or quick beard line-up. Walk-in if we have a chair, but mostly by appointment so you never wait. Everyone from every background is welcome — that's been the rule since day one.

Lalo opened Doble Filo because he believed Mar Vista deserved a real neighborhood barbershop — not a chain, not a salon. A decade behind the chair has taught him to listen first and clip second. He believes in personal connection above all, which is why he'll remember your kid's name long after he's stopped remembering yours.
